Solid hardwood slats for excellent mattress support (we don’t use pine because it’s too soft). Metal-on-metal corner connection frame assembly for added strength and durability.
These beds are made of solid North American ash, a magnificent hardwood, from sources that use Forest Management Techniques. We offer these beds unfinished to eliminate offgassing of standard finishes. Finish with one of our non-toxic paints, or finishes.
As important as beauty is durability and all of these beds are solidly constructed. They use metal on metal connectors for strength and easy assembly, and the hardwood slats are the strongest around.
These bed frames are offered as a platform bed (for a mattress only, or a non-innerspring mattress).
