	Koetsu Japanese Block Planes	Details
	We have block planes from two different makers: Koetsu, white steel and Daishin, blue steel. Both have the blade set at 41 dgrees. These block planes are used for small work, and have Rockwell 64 white or blue steel forged welded to wrought iron. The chip-breaker is also laminated. All have a Japanese white oak block. Higher or lower blade angles are available on special order.

	The Daishin block plane is made with blue steel and has the blade set at 41º. These block planes are used for small work, and have Rockwell 64 blue steel forged welded to wrought iron.
