Chamfer Planes
Daishin 45º Chamfer Planes

Details

The body of the chamfer plane is in 3 pieces - 2 angled sections that can be moved apart to set the width of the chamfer, and a blade carrier that can be moved laterally. When cutting narrow chamfers, as the part of the blade that is in use becomes dull, the carrier can be slid laterally to bring a new sharp area of the blade into the cutting position.
